First post!

Hello everybody, finally got a portfolio blog online! Its the first time i am blogging, so bear with me if not every post is super interesting. ;) To start this i did a little step by step of my Lion illustration, hope you find it somewhat useful. I will try to do something more informative in the future, explaining my process more detailed. If you have any question feel free to contact me.

    Always cool to see people process. How did you layer on the color over your initial value stage, when ever I try to do that the results never end up to harsh and dark looking.

    I used the layermodes "overlay" and "softlight" at the beginning until i get a colorbase i am satisfied with. You can always play with layermodes and see what results you are getting.
